  • Born April 3, 1973, under the union of Cooper  & Elizabeth Monluo, Manbor Town, Nimba County-Liberia
  • Married to Comfort Johnson Monluo, and the union is blessed with  four (4) children- Edmund Monluo, Betty Monluo, Elma Monluo and Emmanuel  Monluo; ages:  19, 17, 7, and 5 respectively
  • Education/ Primary:  Manbor Public School, Garplay Public School and Dinyeah Memorial Institute; 1980, 1983, and 1986 respectively

Laytay D. Dahn - graduated from Col. Zadok Magruder High School in Rockville, Maryland on June 2, 2015. Laytay has been accepted by the Montgomery Community College where she intends to study Business.  Laytay is the daughter of Ethel Daiba Peters of Kpairplay Town, Sollay Clan, Gbehlay County District.  The Gbehlay Development Association is proud of you and wish you good luck and God's manifold blessings for the task ahead.  Congratulations!

Luah Beah - graduated from Classical High School in Providence, Rhode Island on June 11, 2015. Luah has been accepted by the North Dakota State University where she intends to study Neuroscience.  She is the daughter of Paul Beah of Zehglay Town, Sollay Clan, Gbehlay County District. The Gbehlay Development Association is proud of you and wish you God's blessing for the task ahead. Congratulations!

I am Foumba Toure. I was born in Karnplay Town, Gbehlay Geh County District, Nimba County.  I attended Karn Elementary School in 1979 as my first english school. I later moved to Sanniquellie and attended Muslim School from 1980 to 1985.  In 1985, I enrolled at the Sanniquellie Central High School and graduated in 1988.  I moved to Monrovia in 1985 and enrolled at the Zion Community College.  In pursuit of my college education, while here in the United States, I enrolled at the Strayer University and now graduated with MBA with concentration in finance.  I also served as Vice President of Gbehlay Development Association during the administration of Helen Teah-Saylee.  Congratulations Foumba, Gbehlay Development Association is proud of you and wish you God's blessing.

Koyeawon Mendee - graduated Magna Cum Laude from Classical High School in Providence, Rhode Island on June 11, 2015. Koyeawon has been accepted at the Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where she intends to study International Business and International Relations.  She is the daughter of Mr. Elton T. Mendee, Sr.  Congratulations Koyeawon, for a job well done and we the family from the Gbehlay Development Association encourage you to do more. We are proud of you.

Gbehlay Development Association

We want to congratulate all our high achievers who have received their diplomas, certificates and degrees in the different areas of studies. We also want to congratulate those who have been promoted on their jobs, as well as those fathers and mothers who have brought new babies into the world. This page is dedicated to all who have accomplished some significant landmark.  To begin with we want to congratulate Mr. Emmanuel Monluo whose picture is posted below. He just earned his MPA and MNM from Hamline University in Minnesota.  We invite all our achievers from the Gbehlay County District to submit their pictures and information about themselves or others from the district who have achieved any of these landmarks above for which we are honoring our people.
